Staff were great as was the breakfast. Tuesday evenings musicians arrived from far and wide , among them Paul Anderson M.B.E. the finest fiddle player your ever likely to here. Joined by other fine muscians playing guitar ,flutes, bagpipes, drums etc and a singer from county Antrim who was also awsome. One of the best nights we have ever had and there has been many.

Neal

This was a quaint family business, very friendly and welcoming. The food and breakfast was all delicious and they had an open mic night where local musicians came to play in the tavern. The bag Piper was exceptional! The town was very charming with a little brook running through it, providing for a relaxing walk around town and shops to explore.

Wendi

This charming inn in Tarland was off the beaten path, which was just what we wanted. We were able to enjoy visiting with the locals and join in with a terrific trad session. We also learned of some sites to see and enjoyed amazing food, friendly hosts and lively scenic drives.

Suzannah

The location was perfect for our stay, the breakfast was delicious and certainly value for money. Lovely view from our window. Staff were very welcoming and obliging. The only thing which isn’t a grievance was that the bedding could have been ironed!

Janis

Welcoming, Kat and Nicki coukd not if done enough to make me feel at home. Nothing was too much bother for them. The coal fire was most warming, very relaxing ambience.
